Tragic. Not the first time this has happened and not the last. Completely predictable. The entirety of our federal government ( with a few individual exceptions) sees that the ends ( more voters and more low wage workers for business cronies) justify the means ( letting in a “few” diseased criminals who may rape, murder and sell drugs to a statistically small number of unlucky American citizens.)
My hunch is this guy thought that a murder rap would get him a lifetime of care to include free shelter, food, health care and cable tv all at the expense of the American tax payer. Good for whoever took him out.

The murderer was on a shooting spree and killed several people that night.
Maybe Danny Glover can get behind this case and say it was ‘wrong’ to kill him.
