I just learned the other day that every sixth citizen there is a millionaire. Think about that for a minute.
One of the things I like about KY is that I get an income that would barely get me into a 3 bedroom rambler in the outer suburbs in Seattle (where I moved from) but here it gets me a new house on 32 spectacular acres - And I’m taxed based on the same income scale as a person trying to afford a tiny, dingy apartment in Manhattan.
Love it.
Going down that road you’d live like a pasha in Cebu or Davao on even less money.
