HIGHER EDUCATION

As federal dollars pour into higher education, tuitions rise, administrative bloat expands, and part-timers teach more and more class sections! Allen B. West’s national Center for Policy analysis is offering a very critical view of “the higher education bubble” by researcher Farhad Mirzadeh. (1) “The result of infusing colleges with billions of dollars in additional funds will be to raise the cost of a college education even higher-just as student loans and federal grants have encouraged wasteful spending by colleges and universities across the country,” says West’s writer. A staggering ONE TRILLION DOLLARS in outstanding student loans equals more than Americans owe on car loans or credit card debt!

In other words, whatever the government touches, the government spoils. Saving and sending our children off to college constitutes government spoilage and long standing political, financial, and personal turmoil. “Education costs [are] rising much faster than other consumer prices” says Mirzadeh and can be tied directly to the amount of money the government pours into a school system that was once the envy of the world.

But today, paying ever rising costs plunges students into scary debt spirals, putting them forever in debt to lien holders on their chosen future of doctor, lawyer or candlestick maker. “The number of administrative positions in colleges and universities has soared in recent years, contributing to what West’s NCPA calls administrative bloat. Of course. The government has warehouses and warehouses full of spoil. The government cannot ever, ever have too much spoil.

It’s even worse - now kids are paying full tuition plus living expenses to take online classes that cost the school next to nothing and could be taken anywhere.

College funding is nothing but a liberal money laundering scheme - money flows from taxpayers to support liberal institutions indoctrinating our children in liberal values. We should stop supporting this evil institution.
