Screw you, Alaska. Obama has simply engaged in yet another assault on this nation's economic vitality
About a third of all the jobs in Alaska are connected to oil exploration and development. And the ability to keep the oil industry vibrant in Alaska is very much dependent on the Trans-Alaska pipeline. So you’d think an administration that claims to be about keeping good jobs viable would have an interest in seeing to it that oil continues to flow freely through the pipeline - not only for the sake of Alaska’s economic viability but also for the sake of the nation’s energy security and independence.
You’d think that, but you’d be wrong if you were talking about the Obama Administration. And lamentably, of course, we are.
Thumbing his nose at the Republican Congress once again, Obama has just used executive authority put another 12 million acres of Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge off limits for oil development. The result could be nothing short of the total dismantling of the pipeline - and of Alaska’s economy along with it:

One of my friends went out when they were putting in the first big pipeline. Said the pay was awesome...and since there was no place to spend it, he came home with lotsa bucks in his bank account.
The intentional destruction of America continues while the GOP house and senate leaders cower in the tall grass...

ANWR oil sits there as a strategic oil reserve available to a future President to write a reversing Executive Order.
0bama is accomplishing very little, other than creating a strategic reserve.
He’s doing his best to destroy the US.
This disgusting anti-American pig knows no bounds. If it hurts America, he likes it. If it’s good for America, he crushes it. I cannot imagine a more venal, putrid human being. Thinking he is the president of this great land makes me want to projectile vomit.
And, and, the Republican Congress could take him down in a matter of weeks. They are now just as guilty as Obama.
