Salon.com: It is "Racist" to Point Out Paris Attackers were Muslim
Pundit Press ^ | 1/13/15 | Aurelius

In an article published yesterday, Salon.com asserted that it is "racist" to point out that the Paris attackers, who murdered over a dozen people over a caricature of Muhammad, were Muslims. More than that, Salon believes that racists push a narrative of Islamic terrorism that does not actually exist.

The article, titled "Hebdo shooting’s missing context: How long-held vilification of Muslims got lost in the discussion," was written by Falguni A. Sheth.

Sheth writes in the article that the term "terrorism" is used by "Americans," as well as "the media," to automatically mean Muslims. The fact of the matter is, Sheth explains, that this is drastically over-used because many of the terroristic attacks committed by Muslims were not part of a larger conspiracy; that is, these Muslims were working by themselves (known as "lone wolves"), and if they were not directly led by ISIS or similar organizations, it is not terrorism.

"It is especially effective to use the term “terrorism” in non-Muslim societies to describe violence that is suspected of being enacted by Muslim individuals," Sheth details, "regardless of whether they are part of a larger organized agenda."

More than this, the spread of the word "terrorism" when it comes to Muslims, and the fact that religion is pointed out at all, is racist, according to the author.

"Even if the Kouachi brothers had just been punks acting without permission or authority from others whom they claim to serve, it’s not hard to imagine the term “terrorism” being deployed and spread exponentially by an obedient press uncritical of the state’s agenda," Sheth seethes, "and eager to parrot the socially-sanctioned racism of elected leaders in the name of patriotism."

Yes, it is now, just like nationality. I’ve been called a racist because I object to Mexican illegals. So now Mexican is a race. Because insane proggies say it is.

Okay.....two things:

Islam is not a race. It's naïve to overlook it given it's central to the reason why the attack occurred in the first place.

I’ve been pondering this thought.

A white man - who shaves his head and is known as a skinhead - who has many Nazi tattoos - who has many Confederate Flags - who openly says and does racist things - and supports death and destruction to the black race - and is even caught in the act of bombing black business while shouting “White Power!”

This white man... Would you dare call him a White Supremacist?

Nope. Nuh-uh. Not if you don’t call the terrorists in Paris Muslims.

Employees at Salon are clearly as stupid as ever. “Race” and “theology” are two separate things. “Islam” is a “theology”, albeit a satanic one. “Race” has to do with “arab”, “cracker”, etc. Not even the term “raghead” is racist since it references (the object of derision), again, theology.

Funny thing about islam: It is not a race, but it is peculiarly missing adherents from a race or two.

Yes, it is now, just like nationality.

For all intents and purposes, Islam is a nationality.

Being a Muslim is not being part of a particular racial identity. The writer is just slinging the term around for the effect the word has in and of itself, and not on the basis of facts.

You both beat me to it.
It is not a race, and it really isn't a religion -- because it is hard from separate the small kernels of religious worship embedded in the Koran to its general outline as a instruction manual and roadmap for political and violent domination of the world.

So it is not racism. And is not even religious bigotry (I plead guilty to that charge: There is no way to the Father, or Heaven, but through Jesus Christ the Lord), it is bigotry against a political dogma that wants to destroy me, my neighborhood, my Country, and the world. And yes, I'm guilty to that charge as well. But I'd say it is more out of concern for the poor fools trapped in the muslim shackles. They have bought into a book ghost-written by Satan, and they are marching off to hell (while maximizing the misery in the world while they are at it).

“Racist” has worked to silence opposition so far.
As long as we let it work they’ll keep using it.
