It’ll create an interesting problem for cops. When they confront such a guy with one....they will want to confiscate it. But under what law do you take away a guy’s fake decoy gun? There is no such law.

Immediately, the cop will be on record....as the guy who took a fake gun, making him look awful foolish among his peers. Within weeks, he’ll be disturbed about this and likely seek mental health treatment.

Personally, I think it’ll make people start to think about the whole big picture.

I'm not a big fan of decoys but I am a fan of wiping out stupidity. Police in Michigan have largely become accustomed to armed citizens and may question you if called but generally end up going away satisfied.

Despite the bizarre fantasy that criminals are out looking for openly armed people to shoot, there is no evidence of it happening.
