Boehner Retains Seat as Speaker of the House, Punishes Dissent
Canada Free Press ^ | 01/07/15 | Douglas V. Gibbs

Conservatives are seen as "the fringe," and the enemy, not just because they dare to challenge the power structure the leadership has established, but because they desire a dismantling of the centralized system

The unconstitutional expansion of federal power began as far back as moments after the ratification of the United States Constitution. Under John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the United States, during his thirty-six year run, the courts created legal precedents that stood in direct opposition to the Jeffersonian Republicans, who called for principles more in line with the Constitution that authorizes stronger State governments. The Jeffersonians were concerned about excessive federal power, and the expansion of a centralized system of governance.

As history has unfolded, inside the political machine, the parties have come to battle on one single issue, despite their claims regarding other issues. That one issue is simply, “Who gets to control the expanding federal power?” Republicans, like the Democrats, want the power that goes with controlling a strong centralized government, but claim that they plan to run it in a more “conservative” manner - an oxymoron to those that support the philosophies of limited government. The truly frightening part, however, is that anyone who dares to stand in their way is punished, not just by the liberal left Democrats seeking power, but by the establishment leadership of the GOP that roosts side by side with the liberal Democrats in Washington.

Free Republic’s Bitter Kasserine Pass DEFEAT with John Boehner : WHY ARE WE HAPPY TO KEEP LOSING ?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3244193/posts

That thread wasn't designed to be a pity party ...

So ... a genuine "thanks" for the Segway here ...

Several months in the future "Obama-Boehner Event ABC-XYZ" will require a massive public-political action ...

Question-1 : Should Free Republic even consider getting involved ? (Yes/No)

Question-2 : "IF" yes ... how should Free Republic be "pre-organized" for an EFFECTIVE response

2-A) "Free Republic Action Teams" set-up in advance ?

2-B) "Free Republic Action Teams" set-up in ALL fifty-seven (57) state chapters ?

2-C) "Information Infrastructure" (Congressional Telephone Numbers, Rally Locations) already be set-up and ready ?

2-D) Free Republic "coordination" with other Patriot groups ?

2-D-1) Red State (Erick Erickson) ?

2-D-2) Freedom Works (Matt Kibbe) ?

2-D-3) Overpassses For America (James Neighbors) ?

2-D-4) National Tea Party Patriots (Daveda Gruber) ?

2-D-5) Overpasses for Impeachment (Roger Ogden) ?

2-D-6) Stop The Busses (Stella)?

2-D-6) Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Beck, Josh Bernstein, Jon Matthews, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Davis, Joe Pags, etc.

2-D-7) Tea Party / 912 STATE groups

2-D-8) THE DRUDGE REPORT media interface contact

2-D-9) An "Action-Rally Graphic/Tag-Link" on the Free Republic website masthead ?

Only Jim Robinson can decide this question for Free Republic; after all he's the Founder and genius behind Free Republic.

"Thanks" Big Red Badger for asking the $ 10 million dollar question ...

What do we do now? Vote Libertarian? Tea Party?

The Republican/Democrat Party is as monolithic as ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN.

Nah, trying to vote ourselves back to the condition our Founders intended isn't possible. We don't have the numbers. The best use of your time and resources is to prepare for the inevitable collapse. After a post collapse thinning of the herd it may then be possible to re-establish a Constitutional Republic. Maybe. To think that the current course of out Country can be altered by working within the system is lunacy.

Everyone who was “fired” from a post should start meeting as a group and work to change the minds of those on both sides of the aisle. Do whatever is necessary to obstruct the intentions of the traitors.

Someone mentioned yesterday they should form a caucus of conservatives to battle back. I agree and this would be a wise strategy.

Louis Golmert and Ted Yoho were on Hannity last night and they said they aren't going to take this lying down. If there is retribution (and there was but Gohmert couldn't confirm if the reports were true that Webster and Nugent were kicked off of committees yesterday) then the conservatives will fight back. Here's to the next battle and I hope is gains ground as the public is fed up with these crony GOP-e types once and for all.

It’s probably going to be true that this scumbag Bonehead will treat dissenting Republicans worse than he treats Obama and Pelosi.

All for naught, so long as they keep the R next to their name, far as I'm concerned. THe GOP is dead and has registered themselves entirely irrelevant.

Happened to see The Boner while flipping through channels. Is it my imagination or is he a darker shade of orange now? Is he trying to emulate his Leader by becoming a “person of color?”

The People will line up to support them. I know I would. I stopped self-identifying as Republican years ago. I know many people who have done the same - registered as Independent. Even my son. Soon my husband will do the same.

I will be registering as an independent. I feel like a fool for switching back to Republican from Independent in 2008 just so I could vote for Republicans during the FL closed primary.

FINALLY somebody said it! Thank you, Mr. Gibbs!

The (former) Republican party is doing exactly what Mr. Gibbs expressed ... they want big government to remain intact so THEY can control it when they finally win the Big Prize again.

All those executive orders, all those regulations, all those corrupt ways to enrich friends and ruin emenies ... those are music to the ears of the GOP elite.

We definitely need a third party now, even if it costs us the White House in 2016. There is no longer any hope for the Party of Lincoln and Reagan.

Can we perhaps at least provide some of that same "Harry Reid exercise equipment" to Boehner, so he can fulfill his New Year's fitness resolutions?
