I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT. It's going on my resume.
Or - Search the title on your favorite search engine.
If it’s Google, YaHoo!, Bing or the like the FR posting will most likely be on the first page. Second page for sure.
And you can add the term “freerepublic” just to be sure.
Tamam Shud
You two guys can sing this to each other -

- whilst wearing your matching Justin Bieber onesies and drinking hot chocolate.
I think that is a good approach. Should be included in tips & tricks on using the site.
An aside... do you really expect someone in the rush of trying to post an article is going to go to the 2nd page of a search engine to see if it is posted on FR?
Do you believe that people posting articles on FR really get a "rush" out of it?
We live in different worlds, you and I.
Alternatively, type this into your favorite search engine:
Keyword site:freerepublic.com
For example:
Army site:freerepublic.com
It will bring up all occurrences of that keyword (in this example, “army”) using *only* hits from Free Republic, not other websites.
Oh, absolutely. It is similar to breaking news on cable network. Who gets that info on the site the quickest after it happens. Not so much that they got it up first, but that they got it to us as quickly as possible. You do see it all of the time.
The plane crash the other night had at least 2 articles in breaking news for quite awhile. No way that could have been missed to the 2nd poster. But they wanted to share breaking news with their FR family as quickly as possible.
Um, i thing Shibumi is using a different definition of “rush” .
Not ‘in a rush’ ,but , woo hooo!
Could be wrong. :)
It’s possible.
I’ll ask him when I see him next.
LOL!
