CNN’s Poppy Harlow interviewed Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke about the recent protests that some in the Black Community have sparked after the police related deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.
Harlow asked the Sheriff, who has been on several news shows on Fox and others, about a tweet he sent out implying that if Black lives mattered the protesters would be outside abortion clinics because of the high numbers of black babies killed by abortion. The tweet sent by Sheriff Clarke, a black man himself, was sent to Mitch Smith, Journalist in the Chicago bureau of The New York Times and read, “If only these faux protesters were asked by media about all the black on black killing or black babies aborted in US every year.“

I have seen Sheriff Clarke several times on Fox and he’s very well spoken. He has the courage to say what only a black man could get away with saying - God bless him. I hope he stays strong.

Sheriff Clarke is a very impressive man. He is intelligent and eloquent. The black community should be looking toward him for leadership, instead of the likes of Al Sharpton.

Amen! If black lives really mattered, the blacks who know the gangs in their neighborhoods would let the cops know more than they do, to disarm them properly and get the illegal weapons off the street. They’d work with the police instead of turning a blind eye and pretending not to have seen anything. Instead, they are part of the group that wants revenge against the “Uncle Tom’s” who do testify truthfully at grand juries. There are a lot of things the black communities could and should do to clean up their own neighborhoods, but they don’t. It’s a lot easier to blame someone else than it is to address the issues necessary and say the hard things. Actually, it is easy for someone to razz the black community as even Cosby has done because he KNEW it would not impact his career and he’d be proclaimed a hero, even though he actually did NOTHING to effect a change. Words without action mean NADA! Why is Sharpton not in Rahm’s face over the multiple deaths and shootings of blacks in Chicago every single week? Because they are done by other blacks. There is no story there. One cannot use that to divide and conquer.
I have seen him too. Very eloquent speaker, but the racists in the rat party will simply say he is a traitor to his race. I think maybe what he can get away with, is telling the professional racists to stick it where there sun don't shine.
It’s probably the only way he could win in Milwaukee County. That said, he is probably a thorn in the side of the Dems.

If human lives matter why has’nt his deputies stopped abortions in Milwaukee?
Seriously, this guy is awesome.
He is absolutely right, but children need fathers, and there isn’t a lot of that going on any more in the black community.

It has been my experience that consistency mixed with a gentle firmness will eventually win them over.
