Well, let’s be clear here. Paramount is forbidding theaters from showing Team America WITHOUT permission. Just like any studio would if someone was stupid enough to publicize that they were having a public airing of a film they don’t own the rights to without getting permission first.

Of course Paramount is not giving permission.
I imagine that they would have zero problem showing that latest crap Star Trek movie though...
