1. Research conducted on all Americans to develop standardized protocols.
2. Standardized treatment protocols imposed on non-standardized patients.
3. Research-based health care rationing according to your productivity, age, etc.
4. Penalties on doctors who refuse to follow one-size-fits-all treatment protocols.
5. "Team-based care" directed by computerized protocols, not your physician.
6. Charging doctors with fraud if fail to follow standardized treatment protocols.
7. Eliminating medical innovation through standardized treatment protocols.
8. Using race/sexual orientation data to accuse doctors of civil rights violations.
9. Locating the uninsured and the unvaccinated for penalties and enforcement.
10. Genetic and medical profiling of individuals and families.
ACTION ITEM: When you see a clinician, ask them: 1) what one person is in charge of your care; 2) are they following a computerized treatment protocol; 3) is there a treatment better suited for you, and if so, why are they not prescribing it; and 4) are they being "scored" (measured) on any treatments they just prescribed for you.
Stay calm, all will be well..........
Flow chart diagnostics. Enter symptoms into the computer, and out pops your diagnosis, complete with a pre-written prescription.
No need for but one Doctor at any one location, as long as the computer is running.
Just 10? All that data will be worth a fortune to the private sector corporations.
We honestly can’t even fathom how badly our personal information will be abused. We’ve already seen the IRS get away with blatant political shenanigans and then cover it up using the same laws they’ve just abused and broken.
Just think of Joe Blow being sued for a car accident, the opposition Insurance company/lawyer has an in with politicians and comes to find out Joe Blow was an alcoholic at one point, or complained of anxiety and had a few benni’s that he hasn’t taken for years.
Then once the government statititions grind the date, they’ll figure that people with type II diabetes and Chronic Renal failure over the age of 60 are lost causes and recommend ‘pallative’ care only.
Just wait till you see the new OBD probe Obamacare will mandate, and where they will “plug it in”.
And that just the legitimate uses. Think about the numerous ways they will be able to track you in every possible way if they link you to integrated instant data systems or how they can use the technology against you in ways never before conceived. Automated traffic ticketing systems tied to your bank accounts to ensure they get paid first. And doesn’t have to stop there. It can be for any government fee or related expense. Think of the political punishment they can dole out to you if they find out you don’t approve of the current administration in office. Instant flag for audits, put on watch lists, gun confiscation list once they can deem being a Tea Party member is a symptom of an underlying mental condition and can assign an ICD9 code to it.
Anyone who signs onto “but this is just to help the government do its job more efficiently and we should trust them” mentality deserves what they’ll get.
There is a blackmail file on every elected representative ... and if there isn’t yet, the NSA has all the data to establish one, and they are not restrained by anything.
The farther they push the cornered animal into the corner the more dangerous it becomes. Let them keep poking it with a stick...
“Then once the government statititions grind the date, theyll figure that people with type II diabetes and Chronic Renal failure over the age of 60 are lost causes and recommend pallative care only.”
Vise-versa: The actuaries will send inspection letters, requiring __________, And the above SUBJECT, will be classfied as a “you name it” risk, whatever involves the maximum shakedown. For instance, banned from driving yet still having to pay the maximum shakedown Extortion-Care. Or requiring a diabetic Night-Scout, identifying and monitoring total location of movement 24hrs.
Violators or procrastination they’ll rat and have “Protection Services” sent and monitoring one’s home at random. (for starters) Asset audits etc.,
Arbeitsziehungslager
I think this is the essential point that the government-as-a-whole is moving toward… and that is not a fun/comforting thought.
Mark for later.
Cross-reference with voter registration data.
Registered with the “wrong” party?
No expensive treatment for you....
Cross reference with gun registration databases.
Gun owner/collector/enthusiast? Same deal.
The possibilities are endless.
I had to go to the hospital for a procedure last week and I can already tell the difference. The staff was foreign and unkind. The head nurse, from India, acted like a battle axe and was rude to me and my husband. The sheets were dirty. The doctor was terse and rude.
The problem with diagnostics like that is that you failing to report a critical symptom because it isn’t important to you (mention headache, not Mexican trip and pork consumption the prior month or respiratory symptoms but not kids’ classmate with EV-68) can lead to a wrong diagnosis. But once diagnosed, getting it changed is difficult.
Another problem is these programs go for the fat of the bellcurve in finding problems. If you have something not normally seen in your local population, the machine diagnosis will never alert to it.
It will find colds, flu, ulcers, diabetes, heart disease, etc., but will totally miss many cancers, and bacterial and viral infections not known to the area (ebola sound familiar? How about tularemia?, and there are a host of others)
But this is where 0bamacare is taking the US healthcare system.
Article V is our last chance to reclaim liberty and return to limited government without the use of brute force.
This is a ping list for cancer survivors and caregivers to share information. Daniel James Frazier is 48 years old and his Mom (my wife) is suffering a lot as she watches her son waste away and take the hits from the treatment. Ruby is his primary care giver and I take care of his household tasks that need done. I'm trying to stay a bit more emotionally detached in order to keep from becoming emotionally worn out so I can be there when Ruby needs someone to lean on.
Working on financials - he's broke and his insurance runs out at end of Dec as he can no longer work. We footed his catastrophic cap and other expenses to get him engaged in treatment but cannot afford to totally foot the bill for COBRA, etc., going into the next year.
SS office originally denied disability then said it was approved, but first check not coming until May.
Medicaid won't kick in until current insurance expires - working to try to get pre-set with them.
Lawyer friend says we need to let current insurance expire and not sign anything on his behalf - may be able to fast-track Medicaid for us.
Other patients and caregivers claim that the hospital;s/doctors cannot stop coverage if/when insurance expires - some receptionists have expressed different views. Going to hit the financial aid section of one hospital to see if options exist.
Anyone who went through the financial end and who has info that might be useful as far as options and experiences with the options asked to ping me so we can try to ensure coverage for his needs.
Ruby has extensive set of friends to help bolster her mentally/emotionally/spiritually , but I'm open to anyone with any potentially uplifting message.
God Bless.
I hope you don't mind that I copied your message above and pasted it onto our "Cancer Warriors" thread in post # 164. I pinged the whole list to it, in case anyone can offer more advice. Most of the ping list members are not here very often, though, so there may not be many responses, but maybe someone will respond.
Stay hopeful. :-) Even if the doctors say now that he has two years maximum, who knows - within the next two years, maybe another treatment will be made available. God bless!
