I've said it many times: You either prepare and stand on your own beholden to no one or you become dependent on others to provide your basic needs and become their serf. Me I dont want to be beholden to anyone for providing what is needed for me and mine. I certainly dont want to have to kiss some gubberment third class bureaucratic to try and coax some help from them, I dont want some jack booted thug herding me in line and telling me where to stand, sit, eat or sleep. And last but not least I dont want to be shut up in with a bunch of zombies and have to worry about not only trying to get basic necessities but having to fight to keep what I manage to get.
It is your choice you can prep or you can stand around on a bridge waiting for FEMA to bring you a bottle of water, a MRE, a warm blanket and a kiss for your boo-boo and maybe you can even get your picture as you stand there on the national new how do you think that will work out for them?

I didnt have power, Virgili said. Once Barry's EPA gets finished with their agenda, NOBODY IS GOING TO HAVE ANY POWER. Get used to it.

When we lived on the High Plains and in the gas camps of the Rockys we learned to keep two weeks food, fuel and lamps on hand just in case.
When the BIG ice storm hit here a few years ago power went out, and we used lanterns I had not lit in 25 years! They worked fine. We had fuel, food, water, and lamps and did well like my ancestors did on the plains.

I didnt have power, Virgili said. I couldnt get my car out of the garage, I have no food, I have no cash, so Im trying to forage for something.
Well, Virgili... get a “I CAN’T BREATHE” or “HANDS UP” sign and you can pretty much take whatever you need from the nearest available store.
