The widespread demonstrations led to the arrest of about 160 individuals, some of whom pelted police with rocks as they attempted to reopen Interstate 80.
In the end, it appears the protesters experienced the inconvenience they had inflicted on others, resulting in what many are calling an ironic twist. Twitchy reported a number of those who took part in the demonstration were heard complaining that they were forced to walk back to their homes due to the shutdowns their actions caused.

Arrest, prosecute, convict, incarcerate, clothe them in pink striped prison garb, and put them in tent housing this winter. Let them try to illegally and unsafely shut down buildings, highways, railroads, and airports from there.

It doesn’t appear that there is any law enforcement on the scene so what’s to prevent the motorists from moving forward and moving these people out of the way or mowing them down? Gruber is right - the American people are stupid. You would think there would be drivers out of their cars seeking the cooperation and participation from other motorists to end this nonsense!! There was one poor guy in San Diego who was courageous enough to face them head on when they blocked his and others routes to work. These people are just going to keep putting up with this from squishy brains likely to be running this country in another twenty years just like the creeps of the sixties?? You bump one of those pieces of trash and the whole mob attacks you, at best destroying your property, at worst murdering you. So lets say your are put in that situation and you injure one of the scum trying to get away. You can bet the same cops that let this happen will track you down and the same DA that won’t prosecute the lawbreakers will persecute you with zeal. These protesters are vile but don’t think the cops or justice system they are protesting is on your side.
Americans are stupid, but not for allowing their day to be disrupted by protestors. They are stupid for electing Mayors, city councils, DA’s, and the like who will ignore illegal activity from the dregs of society and punish upright citizens who react.
