I am so sorry this is happening to you. I hope you can get it worked out. My mother had something similar between the ages of 95 and 101. All Indian and English as a 2nd language Chinese. She was hard of hearing and couldn’t understand a word they said. Plus, they were abrupt with her and didn’t answer her questions.
The foreign doctor discussion reminds me of a doctor I had several years ago. He was from India.
At one check-up he asks of me “How is your breeding?”
I was taken aback. I asked him “What?”.
He said “How is your breeding?”.
It was then I realized he was saying “Breathing”.
Much more appropriate of a question! LOL.
