I’m still struggling with my conflicting thoughts over the initial rite of Festivus: ‘The Pole’: “It rubs the lotion in, or it gets the hose again.”
Part of me wants to know, most of me wants nothing to do with it.
Like ‘Rochelle, Rochelle’ and the Great Red Dragon, it’s a state of becoming, don’t you think? Do you understand?
Well, we did have the grotesque locution “Spring Spheres” substituted for Easter Eggs to the collective howling laughter of an entire nation. At some point these people become so ridiculous that the only thing left is disengagement, because the crazy might just be contagious.
You do understand May Day no?
Christmas is what individuals make of it and PC/anti-Christian businesses and forces cannot take away the remembrance of His miraculous birth or the coming celebration of His magnificent sacrificial Gift of Grace.
We can make statements but cannot change where society is going - He will tend to it. I stopped going to unit "Holiday" parties some years ago when they took the word "Christmas" out of them - they kept on occurring w/o my attendance but I have noted that they keep getting smaller.
>>>What is next calling a Hanukkah Menora a “Holiday Candelabra”<<<
That is hiLARious!! May I steal this line?? (Opps, too late!) Thanks for the best laugh I’ve had in a while! Don’t forget to light up the night. Happy Chanukah to you and yours.
