The Democratic Party has lost big time in the nearly concluded 2014 Congressional elections. Only Louisiana’s runoff election between Mary Landrieu (D) and Bill Cassidy (R) remains undecided.
Cassidy is going to win. Even the Democratic Party realizes this and has decided not to spend any more money on her campaign. This means that Republicans will have 54 Senators as compared to 45 in the outgoing Senate. Republicans also increased the number of House Reps by at least 12 to 244 and the number of Governors by two to 31.
Before the elections, Obama had said, ‘Make no mistake. My policies are on the ballot this fall.’ But what was President Barack Obama’s reaction after the voters clearly rejected his policies? He responded by going more to the left. He is doubling down on those unpopular policies that gave the Democrats such a beating.
One such policy the left wants is amnesty for illegal immigrants. Obama has issued an executive order to allow up to 5 million illegal immigrants to stay in the US.
He had postponed this decision till after the elections for obvious reasons - it is unpopular. But why? Deep down inside, Obama is a radical leftist. Before the elections, he was constrained by the need to keep the Senate in Democratic control. Now that the election is over, he can do what he truly believes in.
The left has been influenced by Marx, who believed that the workingman has no country. A passage from Chapter II of the Communist Manifesto reads:
‘The Communists are further reproached for desiring to abolish countries and nationality.The working men have no country.’A Marxist’s loyalty is not to his country, but to the workers of the world whom he believes are oppressed. That is why so many ‘progressives’ talk about abolishing the border. Granting amnesty is a de facto way of rendering all borders and nationality null and void.
While supporters of open borders are not all Marxists, there is a strong Marxist component among them. One such proponent is Aviva Chomsky, the daughter of notorious linguistic professor Naom Chomsky.
In the final chapter of her book, ‘They take our jobs: And 20 other Myths about Immigration,’ Chomsky wrote:
‘Today’s immigration is structured by contemporary relationships among countries and regions, and by their history of economic inequality. Unequal economic relationships should be changed — not because they lead to migration, but because they lead to human suffering and an unsustainable world. High levels of migration are a symptom of a global economic system that privileges the few at the expense of the many. It could be called capitalism, it could be called neoliberalism, it could be called globalization, it could be called neocolonialism. As long as it keeps resources unequally distributed in the world, you’re going to have people escaping the regions that are deliberately kept poor and violent and seeking freedom in the places where the world’s resources have been concentrated: in the countries that have controlled, and been the beneficiaries of, the global economic system since 1492.’The radical’s loyalty is not to the US. It is to the workers of the world whom they believe to be oppressed by the capitalist class. Inequality of wealth is seen as oppression. The US being one of the wealthiest countries in the world is thus seen as the biggest oppressor. So letting the victims of the oppressor into the country is striking a blow against the biggest oppressor. It may make things worse for Americans to compete with this influx of cheap labor, but that does not matter to someone who feels no loyalty to the US.
During the election campaign for US President in 2008, I detected tell tale signs of this Marxist ideology in then Senator Barack Obama. He initially refused to wear an American flag lapel pin. I then suspected he was signalling to radicals that he feels no loyalty to the US.
Even worse, Obama had been attending the church of Rev Jeremiah Wright for 22 years. The anti-American pastor had been preaching ‘Goddam America’ and that the US was to blame for the 9/11 jihadist attack.
It should also not be forgotten that Obama launched his political career in the home of a radical and terrorist Bill Ayers. Ayers, like so many Marxists, was against the Vietnam War because they wanted Communism to triumph. His association with Ayers was by itself very telling. In his heart of hearts, Obama is a Marxist. Another clue of his inner Marxism was the incident involving ‘Joe the Plumber.’

Part of the whole illegal alien debate is never discussed.
And that part is that this country already has the most liberal system of legal immigration allowed, of any country in the world.
An estimated one million legal immigrants enter this country every year.
We already make provision for big numbers of legal immigrants. Yet to the liberals, that just isn’t enough. No, we have to do an amnesty for illegal aliens, because Obama says we are a nation of immigrants, unless our ancestors were American Indians. Otherwise, since all of our ancestors came from elsewhere, we have to do an amnesty. What the heck kind of logic is this? Yet this is the logic of our liberal president and his useful idiot followers.
Turtle boy better think twice before he makes that move. That would be the straw that broke my republican vote if he did that!
Just when you think Obama has peaked at being a tyrant, he manages to shift gears and take tyranny to levels we never knew existed. He should be in prison for peeing in the face of our country with his Obamnesty crapfest for his comrade foreigners.
Of course, that will never happen when the new patty cakes team is sworn in.

I believe that what we are seeing is the “inside out” part of what Glen Beck referred to as the means to start a revolution. Top down, bottom up and inside out.
It was easy to get the black population out, just find a good reason to yell racist. Now he needs something to stir the pot for the white people. So overstep his authority and give amnesty, that should start things going. (The double effect of amnesty is to stir up both the blacks and the whites.)
We are being played people. Pay attention.

True. I question whether we should allow so many legal immigrants into this country.
But it seems that liberals completely ignore the fact that we allow immigrants to come to this country legally. We have a process in place for those in other countries who want to come here. Illegal aliens need to go through that process, in my opinion, not be granted an amnesty by a liberal president, who thinks that because we had huge immigration over 100 years ago, that we have to allow illegal aliens to sneak into this country today.
Liberals have no logic, only meaningless slogans and catch phrases, hooks and gimmicks. 4 words or less preferably.....can’t expect people to remember more than that. Liberalism is for stupid people who like to pretend they’re smart.
I wish Congress would honor the oath they all took and impeach the Kenyan homo.

I might remind all that we now have a voting public that is majority LIVeral. I really doubt the next election, if we are allowed one, will do anything other than change which socialist is dictating.
Yes. I think it’s kind of cute that people still think this game can be changed. The outcome is set. No Constitution. No firm borders. Just a matter of time, I suppose.
Agreed. What does it matter how many Republicans are elected? The Kenyan will just executive order anything he wants. Hard to believe even the Democrats are letting the executive office run roughshod over them. Don’t they understand that a Republican president will use this as precedent and do the same thing?
