God Save The King!

His Royal Majesty King Barack Obama, our Lord and Sovereign, is to issue decrees tonight legalizing previously illegal immigrants. His Majesty is tired of waiting on Congress to act, so tired that he must act himself. The Republicans are so disrespectful of the King, he has been ever so patient with them. May God give us the grace to be as patient and understanding as His Majesty King Barack! Can you imagine the gall of these Republicans, who have spent years attempting to thwart the will of our Sovereign? They should count their blessings that they still have their heads. It is a testament to the kindness and graciousness of our King that he hasn’t reduced the height of each Republican by one foot! Nevertheless, our King should reconsider as these Republicans are a threat to his imperial power.

In 1776 our nation broke from its sovereign King, George III. We did not replace George with a different sovereign from his extended family nor did we crown a King from a new bloodline. George Washington declined an invitation for him to be declared King of the United States. Instead, our nation adopted a Constitution which limited the power of each branch of government. No longer could the head of state, in our case a President rather than King, declare law. The power to legislate was placed in the hands of a Congress elected by the people. Rather than legislate, the executive is charged with enforcing laws passed by Congress and signed by either himself or one of his predecessors. The President may refuse to sign laws passed by Congress, he has veto power. However the Constitution does not grant him the power to write legislation and enforce it without Congress first passing that legislation by majority vote.

Which brings us to our nation’s first King, Barack Obama. He is prepared tonight to unilaterally write law legalizing millions of people who are here illegally. The King, when he was President, could not get a comprehensive amnesty bill passed through Congress. He couldn’t get it passed when his party held a filibuster proof majority in the Senate in 2009. He couldn’t get it passed when his party held majorities in both Houses in 2009 and 2010. He couldn’t convince Republicans to pass his bill from 2011 to today. Unable to convince the body which is provided legislative power by the Constitution to pass his bill, he’s going to write his own legislation and act unilaterally. The King apparently cannot wait any longer.

A President does not have the power to do what King Barack is going to do tonight. The Constitution simply does not provide the executive with the power to declare millions of people to be legal when in fact the express will of Congress is that they be deported due to the fact that they are committing the crime of being here illegally. Only a divine right King has the power to decree law like this. The President isn’t simply instructing Federal agencies as to how it should go about implementing laws passed by Congress, such is within the power of a President. Rather Obama is planning on writing his own legislation, for no other reason than Congress won’t pass it himself. In his benevolence, the King has invited the Congress to rubber stamp his new law. The King is ever so kind.

If the President has the powers of a King, the progressive expansion of executive power will be nearly complete. There is no law at this point that the President cannot write on his own and enforce executively. King Barack could write Cap and Trade legislation, he could write all sorts of laws on global warming, climate change. A future Republican President, should King Barack decide to step aside in 2017, could unilaterally pass tax cuts or overturn all of King Barack’s unilateral laws. With the powers King Barack will be claiming for himself tonight, there’s no law a future president couldn’t pass without any input from Congress. Of course, all future Presidents could choose to be as gracious as King Barack in giving the Congress the opportunity to rubber stamp his unilateral legislation.

If we are to be a nation with a Constitution that calls for separation of powers then Obama’s unilateral immigration law has to be overturned. One would hope the Courts will gladly overturn unilateral legislation such as this. One would further hope the Republican Congress would refuse to fund the King’s efforts. So far, King Barack has not taken from Congress the power of the purse. Of course, if he’s taken the power to legislate from the Congress one would assume that he could also take the power of the purse from Congress as well. We have a truly royal presidency now, in fact we have a King. Monarchists may rejoice, though even they will be disturbed by the fact that Obama is not the heir to the American throne. For the rest of the country, the will of the people as expressed November 4th is being ignored by a President who believes he has the power to write his own legislation. As of this evening we will officially have a King. God Save His Majesty King Barack Obama!

Maybe tonight's assault on America should henceforth be referred to as a “Coronation.”

It seems to me that the kings next move must be to remove the power of the purse. I wonder how long he will wait to do that.

There is a great scene in a book by Jean Larteguy. He compares the citizens of France to a bunch of alley cats. The male leader of the cats grabs a newly tossed out bag of garbage for himself. He proudly drags it away, not realizing that the bottom of the bag has torn open and all the garbage is falling out. He will get to his perch to find that he has an empty bag of garbage. I like to think of Obama as that Democrat cat.

The whole “O” presidency bears comparison to the coronation of Napoleon I.

He TOO came to ‘power’ as a man of the people then, the foisted a textbook bait-and-switch on the people of France.

Once in charge, he made himself ‘Emperor’ and forced his closest (and to that point, loyal) generals to attend a ‘coronation’ ceremony SO lavish, extreme and ostentatious that no REAL Emperor could have had better.

It's interesting that his generals, many of whom were STILL rabidly ‘Republican’, were offended and openly defiant in their opposition to the whole thing.

I believe it was Marshal Ney who said ALOUD, at the ceremony: “Two million Frenchmen died to put an end to this s^%$”.

I wish Americans could muster as much indignation!!

"God save the king"

That hasn't exactly been the sentiment running through my mind...

God Save the King"

Actually those were my thoughts exactly. Because after tonight the country will be in an uproar. So much for any future talking royalties this clown might expect to get after he is thrown out. But then maybe not. I don't think the Republicans have what it takes to really do anything about it.

This is exactly what a malignant narcissist wants and needs. He needs to create a crisis so that everyone will only talk about him and nothing else. I must commend the people that put him in this position, they really knew what they were doing. After tonight the United States of America as we know it will be no more. They have accomplished what nobody else could do. As Abraham Lincoln said, it could only happen from the inside.

And so, as Tiny Tim said in a Christmas Carol, "A Merry Christmas to us all; God bless us, every one!"

Actually, I think they were right about US from the start. We're easily emotionally played, thus we're stupid.

It used to hurt to watch how easily, but now I find it almost fascinating, sorta like a multi-vehicle Interstate car accident you can stop yourself from staring at.

Look how easily it's done:

Riots in Ferguson, torched off by the latest black jesus since Trayvon, are a cool, retro-sixties thing to do and appear to be getting the green light from high places. Hmmm...

At the same time, Barry Oh! floods the zone with illegals who are going to take the jobs, the benefits, the etc. away from the many Fergusons across the country. Hmmm...

In other words, while Ferguson riots and those images are then used whenever necessary to make us and the world form the "right" opinions (first impressions are important, repetition makes permanent), all the whatever GuvCo promised the now generations of Fergusons has just gotten more scarce thanks to the new competition.

Looks like that is, among other things, in violation of Article IV, Sec. 4 of the Constitution, but for now let's stay practical.

This coming scarcity will make things worse for the Fergusons of Amerika, not better, yet they'll keep letting themselves be used (emotionally played) for the promise of the now and the next "free" obamaphone or obamacare or whatever.

Considering what all the PTBs get for this pandering, lying, etc. and how they use it to acquire and hold power, the demonrat party got a bargain buying and maintaining this form of enslaved freedom or freed enslavery...not sure what to call it...of demoncratic Black Amerika.

The chains are just as real as in the bad ol' days, just not physical.

But the damage is real. And you can see it with physical eyes, emotional eyes, as well as with spiritual eyes.

If you look closely enough with those eyes, you can see what's moving the pieces on the board game we're in.

I wouldn’t say the whole country got played by Obama. 54% maybe but not the whole country. The recent midterms suggest at least some people recognize that voting Obama was a bad decision. My guess is the Republican nominee, unless it’s Christie or Jeb Bush, will receive 52% of the vote and win the White House in 2016. There is reason for hope. Not much hope, we’re talking about Republicans after all, but a little hope.

You're right, of course. There's always reason for hope, even with Republicans.

I screwed up with that post. When I said: "If you look closely enough with those eyes, you can see what's moving the pieces on the board game we're in."

I should have also said: "When you do, one way or another, you'll stop playing the game."

^That^ is the only thing that gives me reason for hope in this circumstance of these interesting times.

It's a trap. The only strategy to win the game is to stop playing and get out of it.
(Hmmm...kinda reminds me of a Star Trek NG(?) episode...)

I have no problem admitting you’re a better Christian than I am, and God bless you for it. I find it impossible to include that cockroach in my prayers.

Crises are also what a Muslim Manchurian Candidate would want to generate to help usher in the Mahdi.

In this case, I’d prefer the Sex Pistols’ version.

“He will get to his perch to find that he has an empty bag of garbage.”

But all the other cats will look out at all the stuff strewn along the road and say “Look at all this great stuff obama gave us!”
