Two Twitter accounts belonging to American racial segregation org Ku Klux Klan, @KuKluxKlanUSA and @YourKKKCentral, have been seized by Anonymous as part of the hacker-activist entity's new campaign, #OpKKK.
At 6:31pm PST Anonymous said it has knocked the website belonging to "Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan" -- the group responsible for the Ferguson threats -- offline....

As much as I disagree with the KKK on threatening someone, this stuff has got to stop. Who made anonymous God?
they’re going to hack the new black panther accounts as well...
right...
Have you knocked off twitter accounts of Ferguson protestors threatening violence? If not why not?
All 34 KKK members in the state hardest hit.
Who says Anonymous....is all that autonomous?
lol
maybe .....but I doubt it.
The same people that created them. The DNC.
Is it less dangerous to have governments wielding all the power? We support the second amendment, largely, because it preserves a balance of power between the government and the governed. Anonymous is doing the same thing but they are packing computers, not pistols. I’ve not seen anything thus far that makes me want to dislike them.
Just because government shouldn’t wield unchecked power doesn’t mean I have to trust anonymous. As a body they tend far to the left and have the power to inflict a lot of evil on a lot of people.
The Truthy Project knocks out groups that 0bama doesn’t like.
I despise the KKK, but they are hardly the only people saying they’ll use “lethal force to defend themselves.” Internet news threads on Ferguson are full of people saying they’ll do exactly that, some adding, “That isn’t a threat, it’s a statement of fact.” I think it’s a stupid statement, but OTOH I treasure people’s Second Amendment rights, and that’s one of them.
The KKK claiming the right to lethal force in self defense does not justify silencing them, but Anonymous did it anyhow. Tyranny is tyranny, whether it’s the government abusing their power, or someone else.
I think the KKK is only being kept alive by the Southern Poverty Law Center, who still need to have that bogey man out there for their ends.
It’s just a bit too convenient that the KKK should show up now after years of relative quiet, just when the government is having a hard time keeping the racial flames burning in ferguson.
Could be.
Going on some discussion threads I’ve run across elsewhere, there are a lot more white people arguing for true racism than I ever imagined being out there. But the KKK seems to be going the “bad culture” route rather than the “bad race” route, so, somewhat ironically, it may not be racist enough anymore to draw the truly racist people in!
