If there wasn't a known path to legal immigration, citizenship, then I could understand the need for mass reform. However, there is a well documented process, there has been for over a century, so why do we need to pardon and grant amnesty to "illegal" immigrants who chose to forgo those laws and not respect our sovereignty? Can I claim ignorance or racism if I'm arrested in Mexico, Venezuela, or El Salvador for doing the exact same thing? Will their governments pardon me and magically grant me the same rights as their natural born populace? No? Well how about 20 million? If illegal immigrants wanted to stay and work in America as guests, once they've been fully vetted and willingly comply with the terms, that's one thing. But if you want to be a citizen of the United States with all the inherent privileges afforded - including the right to vote and influence our public institutions, our way of life - then leave the country and apply for citizenship as you so egregiously failed to do before coming to America! After all, wouldn't the law require you to be deported regardless? Every civilized nation recognizes the non-negotiable need to protect their borders, their people, their sovereignty. Immigration is a simple issue that has been shamelessly muddled and exploited by Democrats for electoral gain. If you're purposely trying to flood your native country with a foreign body - those who know or care little for our traditions and ideals - solely to win elections and forever tip the balance of political power, I'd say that qualifies as an attempted coup d'etat and treason. America doesn't need an Executive Order, it simply needs to restore order!

Stop the giveaways (wind it down before it collapses all at once) and the illegals will find their way home. We didn't bring them here, there is no reason we need to pay to send them home. Close the borders. No giveaways; no food or shelter; no medical treatment; NO JOBS. Subtract all costs of illegals from the foreign aid we provide and the $$ we piss away on the UN. Charge any foreign prisoner's home country for the cost of their incarceration.
Question: How long before Gruber decides that any citizen with a spare bedroom MUST provide shelter, food and healthcare for a "family" of illegals?
Pardoning all these illegals just says we’ve turned into a lawless country & no laws apply!
I just don’t see how we owe anyone amnesty because they broke our laws to get here. Additionally, I don’t see why we owe them, or anyone, free food, medical care, housing forever.
