In “2016: Obama’s America” - the second highest grossing political documentary of all-time – Dinesh D’Souza prognosticated Barack Obama would foster runaway debt, redistribute American wealth on an unprecedented scale, and weaken our foreign influence while emboldening our enemies. Despite being dismissed by liberal pundits and a Praetorian media as a partisan fabrication, time and our President have proven his unwavering predictions inexorably correct. Therefore, if you haven’t had the privilege of watching the compelling filmmaker’s newest work, “America”, you’re not only missing out on a masterful piece of investigatory and expository journalism, but perhaps the most impactful indictment on the socio-economic exploitation of American history by the radical left. With vivid candor and Socratic discourse, Dinesh skillfully dissects the victimization platform of American apologists – specifically those Marxist voices who exploited the counter culture angst of the 1960’s - and flips their entire anti-American, white guilt narrative upside down by debunking it with unflinching perspective, precedence and historical annotation. It’s not that the India native and Dartmouth graduate believes America is infallible, without fault or folly; merely that such transgressions have been unfairly, if not grossly distorted by those fanatical elements in our society that are driven by selfish, financial or political gain.
The documentary’s premise primarily takes aim at history revisionist Howard Zinn, leftist icon Saul Alinsky and other “Rules for Radicals’ disciples who astutely used anger, distortion, and division as a Trojan horse to deceptively push Communist principles to the forefront of America’s cultural and political landscape. From the age-old allegations of unabashed imperialism, to the Mexican nationalist movement to reclaim the ‘Lost Provinces’, the cyclical displacement of Native Americans, and the universal ravages of slavery, D’Souza uses a factual filter of historical context to discredit leftists’ incessant claims that America is nothing more than an illegitimate empire forged upon murder, theft, and hypocritical inequity. In essence, Dinesh staunchly defends and reaffirms American exceptionalism, our timeless founding ideals that continue to transcend the world, while indicting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for consciously carrying the torch of true radicalism – Marxism’s failed ideology – in their subversive attempt to dismantle and reconstruct America solely to consolidate political power. If you cringe at the mere proposition of a world without our Constitutional republic, despise the duplicitous and progressive narrative of conspiring revisionists that is poisoning our educational institutions, then “America” should be required viewing for both those warring factions who either love or demonize “the last, best hope of mankind”.

If you could first know where you are and whither you are tending, you could better judge what to do and how to do it. You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.
The question today is either the opponents of statism will arrest the further spread of it and place it on course of ultimate extinction, or its advocates will push it forward till it shall become permanent.
Have you no tendency to the latter condition?
Let anyone who doubts carefully contemplate that now almost complete legal combination — piece of machinery, so to speak — compounded of the Republican Party hands-across-the-aisle doctrine and the dreadful actions among statism's chief architects.
Sounds like Mr. D’Souza has made a giant step in the direction of answering Abe's first point. But solving the problem of two Americas is going to take a long time.

Americans lost the ability to think decades ago, the press controls what you will consider possible. Until someone tells you Hussein Obama is working for the Muslim terrorists, you will not consider it to be possible. That someone has to be on TV
