The showdown is coming and Republicans have to prepare their response. An immense battle is brewing that will have major consequences for our country
The mid-term election should have been a resounding wake-up call to President Obama to change from his liberal agenda and start working with an emboldened Republican Party. On Tuesday, the GOP took over control of the U.S. Senate, expanded its majority in the House and gained governorships in such blue states as Maryland and Illinois.
The voters delivered a clear repudiation of the Obama presidency and his quest to remake America. Amazingly, the tone deaf President did not admit his role in the Democratic Party defeats. At a Wednesday news conference, the President refused to acknowledge the message from the voters and continued to admit that executive amnesty was on the horizon for millions of illegal immigrants.

CW 2 is still a distinct possibility.
Tell me again, how did Mussolini end up?
Or Hitler down in der Fuherbunker.
The White House has one of those.
Don’t play with Cruz, ‘cause you’re playing with fire.

What will Boehner do? Cry, smoke, drink, cry, somemore.
“Tell me again, how did Mussolini end up?”
He ended UPside down.
I thought it was bizarre that Obama referenced the two thirds of Americans who did not bother to vote as if they agreed with him. Not since Spiro T. Agnew and the silent majority......dangerous.
Why can't we roust out some of these worthless, complacent bone-heads?
I think Agnew had a better case since the silent majority voted for Nixon twice.
It would be nice to see an organization run TV ads stressing how AMERICANs have lost jobs to illegals. I think that would really send the message home for most Americans. Be prepared for the Facebook CEO to run ads about how familys are separated etc.
Upside down was it not?
Obama isn’t listening and a Constitutional crisis is inevitable.
0 is on a mission and will always double down. Our “leaders” don’t know how, and would rather be liked.
Personally, I'll be shocked if Boehner or McConnell do anything to significantly alter our nation's course beyond a rabble dampener or two for appearance's sake, though I hope I'm wrong about that.
These last six years have looked more like three men, one owner, rather than a two party rumble for either a national transformation or a restoration.
The illusions we're fed might change, but I'll be surprised if our compass heading changes very much. We seem to racing to a date with prophesy.
It is obvious that FHO is not going to back-track. He’s just going to lie more, appoint compliant confederates (particularly women), and do less. IMHO.
“Sadly, too many Republicans want to work with the President on comprehensive immigration reform. This is why we will lose even though we “won” the election. It would take awhile to build a fence and Republicans can’t defund until they take control in Jan. There’s lots of time for Obama to do lots of damage. I have read nothing from any Senator that tells me anything else. Obama is going to do it and the Republican Senators are simply not united or prepared. They are scared to death of impeachment and I’ve heard all the reasons. Many of them sound just like the squawking that happened when Cruz did his filibuster - “It will ruin our chances in the mid-terms, we can’t do that to the first black president, we have to reach across the aisle.” The man is a law breaker. Deal with it! That’s why the American people sent you there.
