A) We have NEVER elected a president without at least some government experience. Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln were probably the two least qualified in that regard and we all know what happened there. (B) We will probably not see another black president in at least a generation. Is that fair? Perhaps not, but there it is.

Hmmmm. A generation. 25 years. Long enough for 6 single term presidents. One is six is about 16%, blacks make up about 12% of the population. So yeah, if the selection was totally random, (which given recent history would be an improvement!) we're more apt to not see a black president than see one in that time frame.
