Is GOP Senate Ready for Obama's Attorney General Fight?
Radix News ^ | November 5, 2014 | Michelle Malkin

Gird your loins, Beltway Republicans. Election Day is over, but the progressive left is locked and loaded for battle over President Obama’s next U.S. attorney general.

Liberals unhappy with the administration’s failure to deliver a mass illegal alien amnesty fast enough want a consolation prize. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus sent Obama a demand letter last week promoting Labor Secretary Tom Perez as Eric Holder’s replacement. Mother Jones ran with “Why Picking Tom Perez for Attorney General Would Be a Smart Move for Obama.”

California Democratic Rep. Linda Sanchez gushed to Politico: “Being around him makes me a little bit giddy. … He cares about the stuff that I care about, and he’s so articulate about it.” The “stuff” Perez cares about is the bread and butter of radical leftwing identity politics. It’s “social justice”-crusading on steroids.

Just this week, a federal judge rebuked Perez’s ambitious campaign to pervert housing discrimination laws and exploit racially disparate outcomes in order to prove manufactured bias.

They’ll confirm anyone he nominates.

A President has a right to his appointees, remember? Juan McVain told us so.

I fully expect the McConnell-led minority/majority to cave and grant His Heinous whatever he wants so the ‘decks are cleared’ for January’s takeover.

In fact, the Ruling Class GOP already told us this would be the case.

I hope nobody expected the GOP-E led congress to mount a serious effort at stopping any of Obama’s Nominated Jurists and Appointments.

It’s really not their bag, with a few notable exceptions.

Obama has more or less pledged that he is going to rule through executive orders. The Senate and the House ought to do everything they can to be huge boulder in his path.

Do we need another Attorney General? Holder proved that we really can do without one.

Nina Totenberg and the other NPR talking heads were just laughing and gloating about the Dems pushing through a bunch of appointments during the lameduck Senate.

If Obama issues any more “executive orders” then the tyrant must be deposed: impeach the bastard. Till then, make sure he knows that impeachment is ready to go.

The GOP Senate won't let such a trivial matter get in their way.

After all, they have to get busy with Amnesty.

I hope Ted Cruz revolts successfully against McConnell and then, as his first move as ML, assigns Harry Reed a new parking spot .... In Georgetown.

They have the means to convict. No more excuses.

BO has to be a little nervous about what’s coming regarding impeachment and hearings. He has no one covering for him and Holder anynmore. He is basically a coward and hides behind his unknown past. I bet he doesn’t do a huge amnesty thing because of this.
