UNC is a good school. Do you expect to find a large University without some jackass liberal nonsense?

I don’t “expect” to find a tiny college without such idiotic foolishness. I live in a town with a HUGE university in Texas and they’re trying to get fracking banned! In Texas! Please tell me why all these schools waste our money on Africana and Womyn’s studies?

I agree that UNC is a very good university; but I think there is a lot more than just “some jackass liberal nonsense” at Chapel Hill.
The question is not that it happened but why.
Did the University Provost care so little for the affairs of the AA Studies Department that he or she was unconcerned about its operations? Or was the Provost so afraid of being called a “racist” that he or she simply ignored the problems?
And then another question cannot be ignored: would similar problems be allowed to happen in another department - say, Chemistry?
