Dear Homeowner Associations, Liberal Fascists & other mentally incapacitated apologists....
How is the American flag a tangible threat to anyone, let anyone offensive and a breach of public decorum, when it wavers in the republic for which it was commissioned? Instead of veterans and everyday citizens tolerating your offensive ignorance and shameless hypocrisy, I suggest that you somehow find it in your nonsensical wisdom to recognize Islam - those responsible for the bloodiest terrorist attacks on American soil and despised for mass human atrocities abroad - as the most credible threat to our homeland and that of all humanity! The American Flag, an indelible tribute to those who fought and died for our freedom, is a threat to no one except those who stand in direct contrast to our founding ideals and hallowed way of life. Perhaps it is time to identify yourselves as enemies of the state who are irrevocably hostile towards any notion of patriotism or Constitutional precedent! The only actual crime committed here is by the likes of you; those so hopelessly lost and twisted by a myopic predisposition that you've been reduced to attacking an internationally recognized symbol of liberty rather than standing up for the universal hope it inherently espouses! On behalf of the American people and those who fought and sacrificed their lives so you could freely spew your vile and inane nonsense...
Good Riddance and Good Day!
HOA’s are the Devil’s playgrounds.....
Pretty much!
Someone help me understand.
Why would one want to live amongst a gaggle of un-American pricks who want home owners to sign a memorandum from the “Home Owners Association Rules” that limits one’s ability to express their First Amendment Right of Free Speech to post the National Color or any Military Branch Standard ones wishes to post?
I don’t get it! Don’t move there and don’t sign the memorandum.
I don’t know. However, I can’t fathom why HMA’s would even make such rules. It’s ridiculous and insulting. They should have more pressing issues and security concerns to deal with.
x - I agree.
Thanks!
Greenfield veteran’s flagpole issue resolved; Flag stays put
GREENFIELD, Ind. - A dispute between a Greenfield veteran and his neighborhood’s homeowner’s association has been resolved.
The dispute stemmed from American and Missing In Action flags in Robert and Judy Willits’ front yard.
The couple moved to the Fieldstone neighborhood last Christmas. This summer they installed the flagpole.
Last month, the Fieldstone Homeowners Association sent a letter to the couple saying they were in violation of the covenants and restrictions of the neighborhood.
The association offered to fly the MIA flag from the community flagpole and said Willits could hang the American flag from a bracket above the garage. The other option: keep the flag where it is and pay a $500 fine to cover legal fees.
.................
The Willits received a phone call from their attorney Tuesday night informing them the lawyer had received a letter from the homeowner association’s attorney saying the couple can keep the flagpole and that an anonymous donation covered any legal fees associated with the case.
UUUUUUUUUR-rah.
HOA’s are the same device ass Communist China’s neighborhood courts.
See post #8.
Good news in that case.
Need to find out what they did to get the HOA to back down.
Then apply it to as many HOA’s as possible.
(When shopping for my house, I specifically told the realtor that I would not consider a house in an area w a mandatory HOA and cited the flag-o-phobic HOA’s as an example of why I would not consider buying in that kind of neighborhood )
And even in the mandatory hoa area near me, the hoa president’s house has a nice big flagpole on the property, and people have flag holders on their houses or mail boxes... nobody gives anyone any flak over it.
:)
Awesome news! Common sense wins!
