Abortion Barbie's Texas Barbecue

Wendy Russell Davis is on fire. And I don’t mean that in a good way.

I mean it in a five-alarm, set-her-own-skirt-aflame, billowing-human-torch kind of way. To say that Davis is smokin’ hot is not a compliment. It’s a campaign incineration status update.

The Democratic darling of the Hollywood Left and glamour gal of abortion thought her path to the Texas governor’s mansion would be a pink-sneakered walk in the park. Instead, her single-issue campaign has combusted.

The high point of Davis’ career came last year when she flamboyantly opposed state restrictions on late-term abortions in the wake of Philadelphia death-doc abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s baby-killing spree. Gosnell’s conviction provoked national revulsion at abortion gone wild.

But Davis’ radical supporters at the Texas Capitol donned tampon earrings and waved uterus flags in solidarity with abortion rights at any cost. Planned Parenthood ghouls and celebrity femmes latched on to La Davis.

Militant gender identity politics, however, can only get you so far.

We ought to start a betting pool on how many percentage points she’ll lose by.

It’s gonna be an epic beat-down.

Forget about her losing—let’s see if she could even win Travis County, where Austin is located. She’ll probably win there but almost nowhere else.

I suspect you're right, but Dallas County is mighty blue these days. She could give Greg a run for his money there. Same with Bexar County.

I'll tell you what. I'll bet she can't wait for the pain to stop on November 5th. This whole process has got to be excruciating for her.

I've seen Davis signs around town, only a few but they're in the Highland park
metro district. Lots of Dem Women there. The Men, not so much Democrat.

Same here. I think she'll lose by at least that much. It's gonna be a wipe-out.

Someone on my side of town (east of the metroplex) has put up a bunch of Wendy Davis road signs on a few major streets. Haven't seen a single one in anyone's yard, though.

My neck of the woods is still predominantly conservative.

Davis will win Austin (except for west of Mopac) given the insanity of the demonicrat cesspool in Austin, headed up by a leftist looney-toon mayor and his clown car of council members.

I’ve always thought “baby back ribs” sounded somewhat cannibalistic.

Wendy Davis will go down in flames. Don’t mess with Texas!

Oh, she’ll win Travesty Co. all right, better known as the Texas Psychiatric District. Everyone wears tampon earrings in Austin….

I was going to toss in 15%.

Considering “this” election and “this” candidate, you could be right. That’d make a lot of us smile.

Too bad she ain’t running against Governor Goodhair, it’d be 30%.

I work in the area and really don’t see ANY signs...except Susan Hawk.

Actually...I don’t see a lot of signs except in the depressed areas. (I have an interesting drive to work.)

A few in Mesquite also that are the larger ones. Most I see are small, about 10x20".
I don't see any on the corners up in Plano with all the other signs.
