I am trying to find the photo taken in the 80's about Teddy's offshore drilling. Funny how I can't find it on google.

RUSH: What happened was -- this is back in the late eighties, I think -- Senator Kennedy is vacationing off the coast of the south of France and he's got a young nubile, very limber and flexible young woman with him, scantily clad in a nice bikini. We know this because paparazzi were taking pictures from neighboring boats, and the New York Daily News published the pictures, and there were a series of four pictures. The first picture shows them cavorting out there on the boat. The second picture shows us the scantily clad, nubile, very flexible and limber young woman diving in the water off the edge of the boat. The next picture showed Senator Kennedy jumping in after her -- which was a first for Senator Kennedy to go in the water after a woman -- and then the last picture showed them back in the boat making... uh, "having intimacies," let's say. The pictures made the rounds, and they showed them to Howell Heflin, a Senator from Alabama. He was a huge guy, and he looked at the picture and said (rare Howell Heflin impression), "Well, I do declare! Ha! Why, it do look to me like Senator Kennedy done changed his position on offshore drilling."

Wasn’t this photo considered a fake? Isn’t that John Kennedy?

When I read the title of this thread about Kennedy offshore drilling I got the same vision in my head of ted chasing women on a boat in the water.

Wonder if he did any “fracking”.

Yes, I remember reading an article that dissected the photo. The naked girls jumping into the water were from a Playboy pictorial. The article showed the actual pages from the magazine from with the girls were lifted. The wrinkling of the photo was done to help hide the doctoring.

That photo of naked babes on a yacht came from a Playboy feature in early 1967, remember it well. The girls had asked the dude on the deck to respect their privacy while they skinny dipped, so he kept his eyes closed.

I don’t think the event you are talking about was in France, it was off the coast of New England or the mid-Atlantic somewhere, it might have been the summer of ‘89. He wasn’t married at the time so in theory it wasn’t really a scandal, just that it was happening out in plain view (not inside if it was a small yacht). Not sure who the woman was, that was one part of it that seemed like it was kept secret; she might have been a local.

I also thought it was off the coast of New England. But the location doesn't really matter to me. What is amazing is that as yet the pic has not resurfaced. I personally saw the pic, but searches for it have proved futile.
