I love that add. The only thing I like better is the picture of a cowboy in a saloon with a Mauser C96. Wish I could still find that picture!
When I was thinking about taking the position at Yuma Proving Ground, I looked up books on Yuma. One detailed a gun fight that occurred in the early 1900’s.
The bar tender pulled out a Colt .45 revolver and started shooting up the place. A cowboy said everything was fine until a round creased his butt as he crouched behind an overturned table.
Then he pulled out a 9mm Luger and emptied the magazine into the bar tender, who fell over, dead.
It was a great .45 v. 9mm story, but it was in a book in the post library in Ft. Clayton, Panama, and I have not been able to find it since...
