The black community has to choose better cases to hang their "civil right abuses" hat on.
It does that community a great disservice to beatify such flawed individuals. It serves only to dilute the validity of REAL abuses, of which there are many: for blacks, whites, and every other ethnicity.
This knee-jerk tendency of the black community to grasp at straws seriously undermines their causes in the perception of the citizenry at large.
Agreed. I’m willing to consider that there still may be racism and discrimination out there in the world. I’m willing to consider that blacks may experience discrimination.
But, their highest profile cases, and the cases pushed so hard by these people, are to defend people who are criminals, to say that they got shot for no reason.
And because Trayvon and Michael Brown, criminal thuggish gang type people, got shot when they were picking fights and attacking other people, I’m then supposed to be sympathetic to charges of racism??? Sorry, not buying it. These people can go to you know where.
1) The 'black community' has to quit hollerin' about "civil rights" (that battle was won for them a long time ago), get off their duffs, and work.
2) Most of the violence and rioting in Ferguson seems to be organized, fomented, and controlled by professional marxist agitators. They're following the same pattern as the race riots of the '60s, the IMF/World Bank riots of the '90s, and the more recent "occupy" violence.
