SOP with witnesses of a crime is to interview them in detail alone.

When was done (pretty sure it’s already finished), the many variations of what some witnesses SAY they saw will fall apart as they will conflict....and thus lose all credibility. And it’s likely one or more will corroborate the testimony of the officer.

This will leave the GJ with no choice but to acquit.

BUT, it doesn’t fit the narrative of the Ferguson community or the media.

So, forensic science and testimonies that agree with Wilson will be rejected.

Then, Katy bar the door....

They may be trying to just let time drag by and let passions die down before they announce that the officer is in the clear.

Agreed. I’m willing to consider that there still may be racism and discrimination out there in the world. I’m willing to consider that blacks may experience discrimination.

But, their highest profile cases, and the cases pushed so hard by these people, are to defend people who are criminals, to say that they got shot for no reason.

And because Trayvon and Michael Brown, criminal thuggish gang type people, got shot when they were picking fights and attacking other people, I’m then supposed to be sympathetic to charges of racism??? Sorry, not buying it. These people can go to you know where.

While I was not there, everything we are learning was just as most of us suspected. This whole thing had the clear earmarks of a railroading in progress against officer Wilson.

I watched CNN breaking the news Saturday morning, the 2 hosts looked shaken and depressed by the way this is going badly for their side.

Pathetic to watch a network try and convict somebody with zero evidence and then be disappointed when he clearly is innocent

Is Perjury still a crime...speaking of Dorian Johnson?

Darren Wilson will be exonerated. The police already have the evidence to do so.

They are basically waiting for ice and snow on the ground before releasing the findings to help limit riotings.

The black community has to choose better cases to hang their "civil right abuses" hat on.

1) The 'black community' has to quit hollerin' about "civil rights" (that battle was won for them a long time ago), get off their duffs, and work.

2) Most of the violence and rioting in Ferguson seems to be organized, fomented, and controlled by professional marxist agitators. They're following the same pattern as the race riots of the '60s, the IMF/World Bank riots of the '90s, and the more recent "occupy" violence.

I don't think the civil rights battle has been won by anybody: black, white or otherwise. The black community does have a chip on its shoulder; their memory is long, and the historical facts are absolutely horrendous.

But they need to do a much better job with respect to choosing their battles. They tend to eagerly lap up any bit if sloppy propaganda that reinforces their worldview.

The People's rights (civil or otherwise) are being stomped from every direction, whether it be police, bureaucracy, executives, judges, or legislators.

And there are plenty of blacks who have already gotten off their duffs, and are working. They've rejected the plantation, but still unfortunately indulge their Democratic voting habits. Their memory is quite short in that respect, because as we all know, Republicans are the ones who ended slavery and empowered the black community after the Civil War.

The insidious Welfare State, with its siren song of entitlement and "support" (read dependency) has proven to be a very effective control mechanism for leftist authoritarians. The black community sees it as a sort of surrogate reparations, but they don't realize how it's ultimately keeping them subjugated over the long haul.

And I'm not accusing you of this, but "conservative" rage, such as is often seen on this site, is frequently channeled very irresponsibly, is excessively strident, and often falls into the same broadbrushing which the black community is decried for.

We need to point out the positive alternatives which accrue to them joining our ranks, not simply toss inflammatory & divisive rhetoric around. Many blacks who visit this site would wrongly conclude that it is racially biased, due to a relatively small number of overtly bigoted posts.

There's nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade, but referring to certain groups of people as "nappy headed" or "animals" in a general way will always cause them to retreat and cling to their "us against them" tribal impulses.

What I'm really asserting is that our angry, frustrated "rebukes" need to be done in the most Christian way possible, because when they're not, they serve no constructive purpose, and indeed they do far more harm than good.

I have no idea what you mean by that. Racial discrimination is flat illegal.

Oh, wait.

No it's not.

Racial discrimination in favor of "blacks" is required under the guise of "affirmative action" and "equal opportunity".

The black community does have a chip on its shoulder; their memory is long, and the historical facts are absolutely horrendous.

Waaaaah!

NO "black" person in these United States has been legally held a slave by any other person in these United States. The last ex-slave died a long time ago. It's long past time to quit harboring grudges.

The People's rights (civil or otherwise) are being stomped from every direction, whether it be police, bureaucracy, executives, judges, or legislators.

Has nothing to do with "race" ... except in so far as it is done in favor of people who check "African American" on the color line.

And there are plenty of blacks who have already gotten off their duffs, and are working. They've rejected the plantation, but still unfortunately indulge their Democratic voting habits.

They're still on the plantation. They're voting for democrats like good little ... whatever it is the democrats think they are.

That's how democrats keep them on the plantation. Their "work" as slaves is to vote for democrats. Their "keep" as slaves is whatever welfare payments (extracted by threat of lethal force from productive people) the democrats find necessary.

What I'm really asserting is that our angry, frustrated "rebukes" need to be done in the most Christian way possible,

Well said, and I shall try to remember your advice.

Please also take note of my second point. The "black community" is being USED by marxist agitators. I wonder how many of them realize that.

Who's referring to slavery? How naive.

There were countless free blacks who were lynched and murdered over the hundred years following the slavery era.

Here in my home state of Florida there were horrendous crimes committed, going well into the 20th century.

The racists who perpetrated these crimes were so proud that they often took pictures of their handiwork.

Not to mention all the other institutional dehumanizing that blacks had to put up with. The vestiges of that hate still persist in some quarters. I wish it wasn't so, but it is so.

It will take a long time before those memories die. It will take a long time before the black community trusts the larger American community, and rightly so. A lot of that stuff happened within the living memory of people who are still with us.

Slavery, schmavery. The crimes didn't stop there. Not by a long shot. They persisted for a good century afterwards.

We who haven't experienced that need to show just a little more patience. Our anger pales in comparison to theirs.

That may not be a good bet to make. Not after fifty years of this stuff. Just sayin'.

>>naive

Piss off.

I’m all patienced out.

I’ve been hectored and harassed by dark-skinned race baiters for almost half a century, for crap that neither I nor my ancestors did.

Enough.

More than enough.

Today’s “blacks” have made their own bed ... on MY dime (and yours, too, assuming you do some sort of productive work) ... If they want respect, they can quit voting for democrats, quit making everything about race, and quit acting like everybody’s out to get them. It’s nonsense.

I missed that piece of crap first time through.

If it's so horrible here, they can leave. Africa is over that way. Go.

The “Back to Africa” concept isn’t 12 years old ... more like 150 years old.

Today’s “black” Americans should be grateful to God (the real one, not the demonic “allah” before which entirely too many of them grovel) that their ancestors decided to stay here.

America is a much better place than Liberia. If they’re too steeped in irrational race hate to see it, that’s their problem.
