Like any stupid liberal policy. There are those who stand to gain power and money and those who drink the Kool-Aid. Evil doers and their gullible followers.
It drives my liberal friends/family nuts when I tell them that Hitler was the first major leader to recognize the importance of organic farming and sustainable agriculture. Despite their “progressive” politics, if you actually look at the granola crowd (farmers markets, Mother Earth News, Oregon) - they are almost all white.
