EBOLA and STATES RIGHTS

I am not joking - we have to force obama's hand - we have to force the Federal Government into stopping issuance of visas to residents of the West African Ebola Stricken Nations..

Texas and all other states should invoke States Rights to protect the citizens of their respective states... Since obama and his minions will not protect Americans by ceasing issuance of visas to all residents of West Africa Ebola stricken countries - thus allowing entry of potentially Ebola infected people into our country and in turn into each State... Then each State should invoke States Rights Public Health Regulations Immediately. Such new regulations should authorized State Law Enforcement Authorities to Enforce Public Health Protection Laws for anyone entering a given State by air travel. Texas and all other States should station law enforcement officers at major Airports and screen passengers to detect incoming passengers from Western African Ebola Stricken Countries... Or those passengers who have landed at other International Airports in other states then transferred to a domestic flight. Law enforcement officers should examine passports to determine travel history originating in the West African Nations then conduct health screening and be prepared to take individuals suspected of having the Ebola disease or having been exposed to it - into custody for further examination - blood testing and possible quarantine for up to 25 days or longer... And make this set of Regulations and Screening Process known to all arrivals at each State's Airports.

I am not joking - we have to force obama's hand - we have to force the Federal Government into stopping issuance of visas to residents of the West African Ebola Stricken Nations...

Texas State Law Enforcement should set up a screening station at Houston International and DFW Airport - and ALL Foreign Nationals would have to go through the screening process - PASSPORTS PLEASE!

Okay then -— Canadian ... Howdy - have a great day... China - Howdy — have a Good Day... Liberia ... Hello ... Okay please step over here...

I’ve been saying that governors in states with international airports should just say: “No flights from Africa.” Screw the FAA. Assert states rights and look out for your citizens. The feds won’t.

“Texas State Law Enforcement should set up a screening station at Houston International and DFW Airport - and ALL Foreign Nationals would have to go through the screening process - PASSPORTS PLEASE!”

I dare the feds to try to stop them from doing this.

There would be 100k armed Texans backing up our state officials.

Maybe this is the way one tackles the states rights issues once and for all.

Obama doesn’t care if you get Ebola and die. If you are dead, then you automatically become a voting Democrat.
The states need to exclude anyone from the 4 Ebola infected countries.

Only problem there is only about 5 Airports that receive flights from Africa ... BUT the Dallas Ebola patient routed via Brussels...

What I am saying ... is that States should route all debarking foreign national passengers through a screening process ... not just from direct overseas flights — but any Foreign National getting off an airplane has to go through a line to get out of the airport... Then detain those who have travel histories in the West African Ebola stricken nations regardless of nationality ... Stop ALL FOREIGN NATIONALS - don’t get out of the airport until they go through a STATE INSPECTION STATION and West Africans are interviewed...and possibly detained in quarantine.

” stopping issuance of visas “

I agree. Without a visa, it doesn’t matter what circuitous route they take, they won’t get in

Obama is reveling in the Ebola hype.
He needs this to divert the public attention from all his various scandals. He does not want you discussing politics before the election just a few weeks away.

Without diminishing the very real virulence of the Ebola pestilence, I have to say the Captive Press and this administration have managed to steer attentions away from the “polio-like” EV-D68 epidemic, almost certainly related to the wave of alien immigrants redistributed through the land in August.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

So we’re the same as Nazi Germany if we try to stop anyone with Ebola from coming into the country?

I think people shown to be carrying any communicable disease should be isolated until they no longer present a danger to the public, but this type of questioning on a broader scale represents a dangerously slippery slope. “What kind of meeting did you attend? Who else was there? Why are you travelling? We’ll need to see a list of all of the stores you’ve visited in the last month.”

“I think people shown to be carrying any communicable disease should be isolated”

So you believe everyone should be tested so nobody is discriminated against?

After all that’s the only way to determine if someone has a communicable disease and in the early stages of Ebola that doesn’t work so they could slip right through.

I got a better idea.

How about we identify potential problems and keep them out.
