Don’t forget Hillary’s involvement in Watergate. She was in deeper than he was, actually working on the legal end opposing Nixon.
Exactly. Hillary Rodham was very obviusly trying to limit the calling of witnesses, cross-examination and the abilty of Nixon to have counsel.
Bill Clinton’s 1972 campaign aide, Taylor Branch (runs Clinton’s Oral History project), ghost-wrote John Dean’s book Secret Agenda. Severin Beliveau, Spencer Oliver, Wilbur Mills and Young Democrats President Robert Allen (won his position at the Hot Springs Convention in 1971) are persons overheard on the Watergate tap who also played important roles nClinton’s rise.
Interesting too that both Woodward and Bernstein have been granted extraordinary access to the Clintons. Woodward wrote 3 or 4 books on Bill and Bernstein wrote a hagiography of Hillary.
