Since when can judges become dictators? They should be the first ones locked up when The Great Push-Back begins.

The GOP invented the idea of the “public accommodation”, which shows that the GOP can be every bit as statist as the Dems.

Unfortunately the printers representative had already made a contract with the group to make the shirts..

it wasn’t as if the group had been refused at the start..

there was a contract to make shirts..

You just think you own your business.

The STATE OWNS YOUR BUSINESS comrade.

Sounds like a good ruling to ignore.

This judge is an evil thug, and the gays who demand obedience are thugs. I hope all decent people will shun everyone involved in this abuse of government’s excessive power over individuals.

See there?

Freedom means bowing your knee to homosexuality.

I think it’s time to start going after these Human Rights Commissions as being unconstitutional. Just because a community decides to give power to one of these commissions to dictate behavior, they do not have the power to throw out your Constitutional rights.

Freedom of association is long gone. But I wonder if we could turn it around and demand a muslum printer, if there are any, print pro-Jewish material? Or if we can find a homosexual printer and make him print a “homosexuality is a sin” type shirt. That however would probably be considered “hate speech”.

I am still waiting for the first case of a church being forced to conduct a homosexual wedding. It is bound to happen.

If businesses like this would only give a “date after” such events - that would preclude them ever having to do business with people they don’t want to...

Give them a date beyond the event. Simple!

No court can tell a business how busy they are and what their production should be at certain times - that’s outside the court and would never even garner a complaint in the first place.

Tell the customer they are beyond their capacity to produce and that the order will be done after marked date - stop telling them the truth! They want to play nasty - business owners need to do the same!

that printers cannot refuse to print materials promoting ideas they disagree with.

Used to be that that was what America was all about.

Well now there’s any easy fix to this judge....

I will order 100 shirts printed to read:

“Judge Joe Effs the 1st Amendment”

RE:”An administrative law judge has ruled that a Kentucky printer’s refusal to print gay pride t-shirts “constitutes unlawful discrimination,” and, by extension, that printers cannot refuse to print materials promoting ideas they disagree with.
Hands On Originals is a business that prints custom designs on clothes, accessories and other items like mugs and bottles. According to the ruling, Blaine Adamson, its managing owner, “instructed his sales representatives to decline to design, print, or produce orders whenever the requested material was perceived to promote an event or organization that conveys messages that are considered by the sales representative or Mr. Adamson to be inappropriate or inconsistent with Christian beliefs.”

Here's one that should be easy for Republicans to make a clear case over. pro-gay behavior tyranny telling us what we must say.

These rulings are a clear violation of the 1st Amendment’s freedom to peacefully assemble.

when Lowe called Adamson asking how to pay the deposit and attempting to negotiate a lower price....

The guy missed his chance right here. Sorry sir, the associate that quoted that price made an error. Yes we can do that for you at (XXX), which should have been 3-4 times the first price. They are custom orders so the business can certainly vary the price. Unlikely the group would pay 3 times more then other place wanted. No discrimination charge,

By that edict, they could also force Christian printers/publishers to print Satanic shirts and tracts.

Printers have rejected offensive materials for decades. Just because you write it does not mean that anyone needs to print it for you.
