I call upon the leaders of ALL the Christian sects and denominations , the pastors of all the churches and congregations ; All around the world : To pray that the Lord God , the God of Abraham , Issac and Jacob , the True and Living God , our God and the God of our fathers , to intercede and completely remove the world threatening plague of Ebola . From those plagued in Africa and around the world , To let it not spread and to let it suddenly , miraculously, disappear in its region of origin . I call upon ALL our Jewish brethren and sisters to join us in these supplications and prayers ; for we worship the same Living God

A Catholic nun was the first person diagnosed with Ebola.
Perhaps there may be a different plan in place than you realize.
But I do expect prayer to help because we were promised it would . I stand on that promise more than the revelation of John in his old age .
if God were willing to spare wicked Ninevah upon their repentance , would He not turn away from plagues and pestilence these days as well ? It’s the same timeless God . He can re-write His own playbook upon His will . We need to ask and not just wring our hands in complacency and resignation
Keep Praying - even if these are indeed the end times and this is a run down to the end prayer is never in vain - ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in prayer. Even the end times should not stop us asking God to bless and help others!

Do you have a source for this info? I can see 2 points of view springing forth from that bit of info.
I still remember exactly. One day in September, a pilot from Sabena Airlines brought us a shiny blue Thermos and a letter from a doctor in Kinshasa in what was then Zaire. In the Thermos, he wrote, there was a blood sample from a Belgian nun who had recently fallen ill from a mysterious sickness in Yambuku, a remote village in the northern part of the country. He asked us to test the sample for yellow fever.
You are so right. No matter what the Lord has in store for our world, it is always important to pray, especially to ask Him to give us the strength and grace to deal with whatever is asked of us.
Amen Bigg Red - God Bless - it’s gunna be a bumpy ride - we gotta hold on to all those things we hold true especially our salvation in Christ Jesus!
+1
this is absolutely how I feel
I simply cannot give up to a supposed fated outcome . Nothing is impossible for God and He has shown mercy and His will to change outcomes repeatedly throughout human history
lost indeed :^)
