Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian national who is the first person to be diagnosed with the Ebola virus in the U.S., traveled to Dallas to marry his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his 19-year-old son, the pastor of the woman's church told NBC News on Saturday.
The Rev. George Mason, senior pastor of Wilshire Baptist Church, said the church has been "doing whatever is permitted" to help the woman who is named Louise and whose last name NBC News is not reporting and the three children with whom she is in isolation at an undisclosed location in Dallas. "Because of the quarantine, we're limited," Mason said, but he said he's been in regular contact with her by phone and reported: "She's doing better now that they have moved her. The place that they're living in now is much easier now. There's less scrutiny, and it's more private."(continued)

Don’t care if he was coming here to be ordained as the Pope. He KNEW he had Ebola, he was coming here for medical care and he put others at risk in doing so.
Just a coincidence he was dying and may have spent his life savings to get here.
I know that I couldn’t afford to fly to Africa right now if my life depended on it.
Everybody on Earth listens to the same radio station, WII-FM.
What is the point of this puff piece?
Why does NBC try to protect her identity, not reporting her last name, when other news outlets have reported her full name?
So now with marriage he will never return to Liberia to face criminal charges of lying about his exposure to Ebola.
Yep, he is RIGHT NOW qualified for a fiancé visa...
Its just NBC, playing the ‘poor (infected) immigrant’ angle.
Have they made her the “Ebola Spouse Czar” yet?
After 19 years he decided to marry the mother of his son just when he came down with Ebola. Unbelievable bullstein.
When you hand out visas to 40 year old single men in Liberia with no real roots in the country, they use them.
And I bet she believed him when he said he loved her and that she was the only one.
this charlatan is a picture perfect example have someone coming here in order to get stuff and simply sponge off of the system.
what is more, the media has been heavily obfuscating about this man, his background, his family and his motives.
The same news media that has no problem outing Officer Wilson’s identity in Ferguson, MO is doing all they can to protect a woman (most likely an illegal alien) whose boyfriend put the lives of a few Dallas residents in jeopardy. Everything in the world makes sense, right?
They could have married via the internet....
It just seems that the media is trying very hard to make these slimeballs the VICTIMS and it's failing.
et’s ee....that would make him a citizen....right?
We are getting the kind of government we allow. IOW THROW THE BASTERDS OUT!!!
Almost.
Great. We've seen how well Liberians understand the concept of quarantine...
Also, I read that she had traveled with him from Liberia. Was this an error, or was she on the flight too?
There’s so many holes in this story that I suspect the Swiss are involved.
