President Obama’s remarks to the UN General Assembly also mark the first time a sitting U.S. President has ever chaired a Security Council meeting.  His remarks were a mixture of retreaded Bush speeches about the evil of terrorism, and cheerleading language like “Islam teaches peace,” versus ISIS, who is “hiding behind a false Islam."  At the end, Obama couldn’t help himself from apologizing for America’s problems, as if the world needs our apology.

I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri – where a young man was killed, and a community was divided. So yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions. And like every country, we continually wrestle with how to reconcile the vast changes wrought by globalization and greater diversity with the traditions that we hold dear.

Obama could not have enabled America’s enemies more if he had shown a Soviet propaganda film highlighting our decadent, race-obsessed, militaristic and empire-building society (keep watching until the 8:20 mark).

How this backstepping apology can possibly help build a case for our bombing of the sovereign nation of Syria, a UN member—and equipping rebels who seek to overthrow the legal government of that nation—I suspect it works against his purpose.  Obama simply can’t get past America’s “sins” of the past, and has no concept of scale or moral foundation.

The world does not need our apology, and the Security Council, in particular, is comprised of a group of some of the worst of the worst, from whom we, and the rest of humanity, should demand an apology.  Some of the current rogues gallery:

• Argentina, where riots caused former President Fernando De la Rua to resign and hand power back to Peronistas who must attempt to keep the country from falling into utter ruin.
• Australia, which is struggling with raw censorship trying to suppress racists with a “racial hatred bill”.
• Chad, which has welcomed indicted fugitive Sudanese defense minister Abdelraheem Mohammed Hussein and President Omar al-Bashir, who are wanted by the Hague for crimes against humanity.
• Chile, which is being investigated by the UN for racial discrimination against indigenous groups.
• Rwanda, which has experienced a rather striking turnaround since the genocidal attacks in 1994, is still struggling with Tutsi vs. Hutu violence and assassinations.

I don’t need to give examples for China, France, Russia, and the U.K.  There are simply too many to list.  Why does our president keep genuflecting to nations whose record on human rights compares less favorably than the Soviet Union under Khrushchev?

Even in the worst light, America has always stood for freedom and moral forthrightness.  There is no need for the Leader of the Free World to always abdicate that position in favor of others who would change the title to “Ruler of the Conquered World”, simply to make the obvious point that nobody’s perfect.

In Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s words (he was speaking about Jews and Zionism):

“We constantly and very loudly apologize… Instead of turning our backs to the accusers, as there is nothing to apologize for, and nobody to apologize to, we swear again and again that it is not our fault… Isn’t it long overdue to respond to all these and all future accusations, reproaches, suspicions, slanders and denunciations by simply folding our arms and loudly, clearly, coldly and calmly answer with the only argument that is understandable and accessible to this public: ‘Go to Hell!’?

Both Obama and Holder are confirmed reflexive Racists.
They are pre-empting a fair trial as they intrude in a ham handed manner on the grand Jury’s process in fergusen Mo.
