Exactly how I feel about him. That whole Gardisil incident revealed to me that at the very least he is open to checkbook persuasion. Which is precisely what we DON'T need in D.C. at this time.

Most people don’t understand that if you want to become the President of the United States you have to be able to raise enormous amounts of money. Rick Perry is a great fundraiser in Texas but he has to branch out to get the money to win not only the GOP nomination but the general election. He does not have a personal fortune to fund himself like Mitt. Hence the high powered political operatives who are nationally connected to big money.

If Perry can’t raise the money to compete he is never going to be able to even be a contender. I’ll be curious to see how Freepers respond when Ted Cruz has to make some tough decisions about who to align with to raise money. And I’m sure he will

I like Rick Perry and I do not believe he is a RINO. He and Ted Cruz are both good solid conservative candidates and either one of them would be a good President.
