WARNING: LANGUAGE ALERT x 100!!!! Because I have been active in decrying the increased militarization of the police, in the interests of fairness and equal time, the link below will take you to an 8 minute Youtube audio of a highly PROFANE, VULGAR 1989 "conversation" between a "citizen" and a police officer who took "To Protect and SERVE" to levels few of us could or would have. Me? I'd have taken this miserable SOB straight to JAIL!! Can you say "terroristic threats"?
Every police officer who hears this recording knows immediately what is happening here. Because, each of us has had to "deal with" numerous Nehemiah Wades in our career.
But, for those not familiar with police work: In this case, Mr. Wade had acted in a way that caused someone to call the police and ask that they remove Mr. Wade from their presence. The Deputy, put Mr. Wade in his car and removed him from the area of the complaint and not wanting to arrest Mr. Wade, he offered to take Mr. Wade home. What you hear is Mr. Wade thanking the officer for his humanity and kindness.
With great thanks to the esteemed journalist Joe Kovac of the Macon Telegraph. A recent dialog about old times between myself and Mr. Kovac resulted in him locating his personal signed copy of the famous Nehemiah Wade recording made in 1989 by one of my dearest friends, the late Lt. Jim Higgins of the Bibb County Sheriffs Office in Macon, Georgia. Much to my surprise, Mr. Kovac also located the famous recording on YouTube and here is a link to it:

The sheriff sounds like an old school sheriff dealing with a hard core drunk, he knew what he was dealing with and kept trying to take the guy home so that he could sleep it off, just routine business.
Today the average cop would internalize it and be having emotional responses (possibly vengeful and violent) to the raving and rambling, rather than being amused by a drunk guy.
Plenty of old school sheriffs are dead from drunks because the played them short.
Your post is totaly irrelevant in this case, I hope you aren’t one of the problems of overly emotional modern cops.
Ansell, the comment was to ignorant self. Just how long have you been a cop?
Try that again in English.
Ok, so by your response you have demonstrated that you have never been a police officer and don’t know what you are talking about.
Thanks for playing.
No, I know what I’m talking about, but thanks for revealing your attitude, one we see too often in the unionized civilians that do our city policing now days.
