The question isn’t why should they kill, it’s why should they stop? The peace proposals never get anywhere. If you reward violence with concessions, there’s no reason for it to ever stop. And if you don’t, what else is there to do?

The answer is obvious and sorely overdue. Kill them. Kill the violent ones first and the ones who sent them as soon as possible thereafter. Rinse and repeat. This not the recourse of someone "as bad as they are", it is a recourse that has been forced upon us.
