It is something he doesn’t want anyone to know about. He doesn’t care about upsetting us, so either it will upset his base, or it is something personal. My gut feeling is we should have been given access to his health records. Is it just me, or does he seem thinner than normal?

No, it’s not just you thinking he’s lost weight. I had the misfortune to see him while changing channel, (I avoid watching him if possible) and the collar of his shirt was way too big...he’s lost weight.
I’m sure his doctors are constantly with his HIV and the innumerable drugs, prescribed and illegal, that he ingests. Of course he is thinner. His skin looks awful. And like many aging gays, he’s looking more effeminate with the passage of time.
