I believe law enforcement in general is a reflection of the state, and as the state becomes more corrupt so will LEOs. Not good.

However, its just stupid to be dogmatically opposed to everything they do - we still need them if for no other reason than to keep the animals at bay, as they did in this case. Its their primary function.
