The newly discovered fact that Wilson confronted Brown not merely for jaywalking, but for robbery (a violent crime)

Not sure if this is a FACT. However it really doesn't matter if the cop "thought" he was involved in a crime or not. Clearly the kid knew he was involved and it would be logical that he thought the police knew that. That would make the kid more violent. Bottom line, the witnesses gave false stories.

Great point, and even if the official word at first, as some are saying, is that Wilson did not know about the robbery (highly unlikely), it’s possible that the official version is maistaken—that Wilson DID get the bolo on Brown.

The cop didn’t just “think” Brown and Johnson were involved in a crime, he KNEW they were. The timeline shows he got the call about the robbery so drove over there and within moments spotted the two thugs walking in the middle of the street a couple blocks from the store. Seems that oooh, ever so nice Brown boy had a habit of shoving people around.
