If I were single I’d be looking in Asia, but maybe that’s because I’ve been stationed there. People here on FR have had a lot of luck in the Philippines.

From my experience, that would be best. I have lived in former Communist central Europe, where I had had a few girlfriends over an 8 yr period. I have now been in the Philippines for six years, and happily married for the last 4 yrs.
I traveled to Moscow last year for a vacation. There were so many beautiful women walking around alone. Earlier this year, after being unsatisfied with my matches on eHarmony, I changed the search to include Russia. I immediately started getting batches of sometimes beautiful girls. In the very first batch was my now girlfriend. We talked for two months and then met in London. She’s visited the States and I’m headed back over to Moscow to see her again in September. She’s smart, funny, educated (3 degrees) and has a great job with an international financial company. She is anything but a mail order bride.
You are correct. My Filipino bride will be here next month.
