ABC 13 in Houston reports that a car accident that killed six people, including a family of four, was caused by a man who was believed to be in the country illegally. Juan Garcia Ahuezoteco fled from the police at up to 100 miles per hour after he was pulled over for a traffic violation, and ran a stop sign, causing him to crash into a family of four. The family, Ahuezoteco, and his passenger were are all killed in the accident. “Ahuezoteco had an outstanding felony warrant for Driving While Intoxicated” according to ABC 13. The station also reports that Ahuezoteco's girlfriend, who says she was on the phone with him during the chase, told them that Ahuezoteco was afraid of being deported.
