If I ran a college I would partner with local businesses to employ collge students and also grade them on their work and nmake having a job during collge as MANDATORY.
Work hours would be limited per week depending on how many hours of classes they had but there woudl be a minimum of 20 hours and the fewer clasees you took the more hours you have to work a week and vice versa.
Kids comming out of collge MUST have practical working experience, it is more important than their degree....
