Well done in writing a book. Even more so six!

Let me ask you this, regarding: “I started my journey as a self-published writer just over two years ago and look forward to doing this as a career for the next few decades.”

Self-published and career traditionally haven’t gone together.

Are you able to make money on the books?

I think you get 70% of profits from Amazon publishing.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.(anyone)

Not enough to support myself yet, but it’s moving that way. With each book out, I build my base of fans, build my e-mail notification list, and see an uptick in monthly sales.

The best way to sell a book is to write the next book. If you want it to be a long term career, you need to keep writing as if you have a long term career. My life goal is to write 100 novels before I semi-retire in my 60s.
