Yes, police can break the law with impunity. If one of their own mistakenly cites them on it, he is chastised or worse.
Just how government works doesn’t it. Abuse your position get promoted.
What part of “Don’t you know who I am” did he not understand???
This internal affairs cop is a piece of sh*t like they all are. He knows damn well one of the most stressful situations in being a cop is pulling over motorists, and of course he’s got to show attitude “cause he’s the man”. Typical government schmuck with the John Kerry attitude “Do you know who I am??” Too bad the cop didn’t knock the rat bastard out.
There are so few good cops, or LEO’s of any stripe, now I’m afraid. In the past 20 years or so, my opinions of LEO’s has gone almost 180 degrees the other day, from inherent respect to inherent suspicion. They’ve earne it.
We need IAD to keep rogue cops in check, and yet, the IAD folks are probably the lowest of the low. It’s like prison guards .we need them, but they’re often more corrupt than the populations they guard.
2. Lt Ramurass is IA. Thats the quality of oversight youve got in PDs these days.
3. Ramurass yells, Do you know who the fưȼ¥k I am? Why should it matter?
4. Switch a regular ole civilian in for Ramurass in this situation. Now, how does it play out?
Too bad the dogman didn’t release his land shark.
There was a Florida trooper who pulled over a local cop a couple of years ago. She currently has a lawsuit going for harassment.
Looks like this is a textbook case of why honest people may want to record everything around therm in certain situations.
This will not go well for the ranking officer.
Some pigs are more equal than others?
How come it doesn’t seem to matter if he was in violation of the posted speeding law? Shouldn’t internal affairs prosecute the cop for not giving him a ticket? Isn’t that their job?
Jackson is as militant as they come. And Ramres is an arrogant asshole. Thats a bad mix. Jackson definitely knew who he was. He just picked the wrong battle. Hes gonna lose in the long run. This administration is good at covering **** up.
Of all the people this Lt. could have picked to get belligerent with, what looks to be a 6’4” guy obviously in great shape should have been the last one on his list.
Stupid must be a job requirement for Lt.’s in Miami. Luckily for the good cop he was smart enough not to allow himself to be set up. Good for him. No one should be above the law if the law is constitutional, if it is not ignore it.
Cops are the worst criminals.
Is there anyone in Miami who should have known better than this IA guy?
Corruption runs deep.
I love how the arrogant prick got thrown on his ass. Beautiful thing. Hopefully it will happen metaphorically as well. POS.
But according to movies and TV internal affairs guys are despised by all the rest of the cops. What's going on here?
“I’m an IA lieutenant and you’re a patrol officer” strikes me as a pretty lame reason to risk getting injured.
