His coverage of the Sago mine accident, where he stood outside the church yelling “They’re alive, they’re alive” (12 of the 13 miners were actually dead) was pretty pitiful, as well. The anchor (Laurie Dhue, maybe?) finally asked “Where is this information coming from, who is saying this?” Jerry Riv exclaimed “Everyone is saying it!”
