My problem with Joan Rivers is she is that she has a filthy mouth.
That, if I may say so, is a fabulous opening line.
Everyone has a right to their own opinions and beliefs and has the right to express them.
In NO WORLD will everyone agree on everything.
“Discrimination”

Synonyms
3. discernment, taste, acumen, perception.

I prefer yellow roses over red.
I prefer rib eye over other cuts.
If that differs from YOUR preferences, that means YOU differ from MY preferences. You have that right. SO DO I.
I AM ‘discriminating’, yes - but that is my right. You have a right to YOUR preferences - but you don’t have a right to tell me I can’t have mine.
You feelings are hurt? None of us get through life without hurt feelings.
Don’t like my opinions?
fatti suoi!
I’m no fan of Joan Rivers, but if they told her the interview was merely to discuss her book and then pulled a bait-and-switch on her, she was right to walk out.
What does offend me is the stupidity of the woman doing the interview, perhaps if she wasn't so self centered she would have picked up on how offensive she was.
Good for you Joan! What a stupid bimbo reporter.
